I just wanted to take a moment to say how truly grateful I am to be part of this AR team. Starting as a contractor and then transitioning into a full-time role has been such a blessing. I appreciate every step of the journey. Even though we all work from home, every day feels like I’m working alongside a real family. You all supported me through so much especially during my pregnancy and all the way through giving birth to my twins, and I will never forget that kindness. The teamwork, encouragement, and willingness to help, whether we’re online or out of office, means so much. And of course, the fun GIFs and memes shared throughout the day always make work better. I’m genuinely thankful for each one of you and for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group and with Sonida Senior Living.

Cindy Dyer is grateful for

Amanda Harris

Business Office Coordinator/Chaos Coordinator LaurelHurst and LaurelWoods

Stating that Amanda is our “Business Office Coordinator” does not nearly do justice to how amazing she truly is! She is the eyes and ears of our building. She is the ear when a resident has a complaint about a bill, a staff member has a complaint about how their PTO or timecard was completed, and when the managers need to vent about how our day is going. She’s the eyes of our building when someone enters; she’s the eyes when she notices a decline in a resident and reports it to the clinical staff; and she’s the eyes of help when she sees someone struggling on the floor. She is also the ear to listen when a resident is having a bad day because they feel like their family isn’t here for them; she’s the ear when an employee is stressed about how they need more hours to cover their bills; and she’s the ear when we are having a bad day to offer the time we need to vent. More importantly, she is the heart of our building. She offers care, love, and compassion in the most important times of need.
